So that all may come to believe...

"He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all men might believe" (JN 1:7)

When Christ enters your life and you come to know Him as your redeemer, you become part of an extended family of Christ. As the experience of getting to know Christ is so intensely personal, we often speak about Jesus as if we own him personally.
The New Testament had a great passion to make Christ known to the whole world of that time.

God ceased being the God of the Jews when Christ died and rose again and sealed the redemption by sending down the Holy Ghost.

Today there are over six billion people in the world. About two billion are Christians. Another one billion have heard of Christ, but have no formal ties with Christianity. This means that almost half of the world's population has never heard of Jesus.
As we can see that the work that was started by John the Baptist - to be living witnesses of Christ- has only begun. However hard this task might seem, and however strong the opposition, Christians of today are faced with the same command as the first Christians: You and I must act as strong and faithful witnesses for Jesus Christ.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, help us lead more people to you.

"Only those who truly believe are obedient; and only those who are obedient, really   believe" Apostle S Malatji

The Value Of A Person

"What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his soul?" (MK 8:36)

Your answer to the above question will depend on what you consider valuable in life.
Many people refer to the value of a person’s financial position or status in society.
Although this appraisal might be important in the business world, it is also a sign of spiritual immaturity if that is all that is important.
Your value cannot be determined by your bank balance and material assets. It lies within yourself. Your integrity, your ability to serve other people with humility, your appreciation of wholesome humour and the ability to be compassionate to people who are miserable and have problems - all these characteristics work together to create a dignified character.
Such a character is not shaped in a day. Like many other things in this life, we have to work hard to develop these essential characteristics that will contribute towards spiritual growth. Fortunately, as a Christian you have the wisdom and strength of the living Christ at your disposal, which helps you to realise your ultimate potential in this life.

Prayer: Holy Spirit, Guide and Teacher, with your guidance i choose those values that will cultivate eternal qualities in me.

Rejoice in hope.

"And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God" (Rom 5:2)

Christian life is a constant source of joy. Once you have surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, you invariably find peace in God.
And when you become a disciple of the Lord, you are bound to discover exciting truths. Anyone who becomes part of God's family joins a community of people who share certain feelings. Your old life is something of the past, and a new spiritual awareness begins to manifest.
Where there used to be despondency and despair, you have hope in your heart. Rejoice in this hope.
Somebody once said, "Hope is faith that has plunged into the future."
As a Christian you can face the future with hope. You know that you can trust the promises of God when He says he will never leave nor forsake you.
You are created with a purpose of eventually sharing in God's glory.
Nothing less should be good enough for you.
We are created to thrive.
Rejoice in the Hope that the Lord will help you.

Prayer: Lord God Almighty, fill me with hope, here and now, so that i may begin to know the joy of life hereafter.
In Jesus Christ name..Amen.

You can do it!

"When Jesus had called the Twelve together, he gave them power and authority to drive out all demons and to cure diseases. (Luke 9:)
Read Luke 9:1-6

There are people whose faith in the Master comes to little or nothing at all, simply because they do not make an effort to serve Him practically.
These wasted talents could have been applied to serve the kingdom of God. Others fail in their efforts to be of service because they depend on their own strength and resources. The pitiful result is that not only do they dissapoint the Master, but they also deprive themselves of the opportunity to experience the joy that stems from being of service to God.
When you look closeley at the Old and New Testament, you may notice a general phenomenon: All the religious heroes in the Old as well as the New Testament were ordinary, simple people.
In their own strength they had little or nothing to offer God, but because they had been filled with and empowered by the Holy Ghost, they became powerful and effective witnesses for Christ.
Acts 1:8 "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses....to the ends of the earth."
Jesus, the living Christ, has an assignment he would like to entrust to you ith. Only you are able to perform that task, like i always say that nobody can worship Him for you. Submit yourself to the leadership of the Holy Ghost and take His outstretched hand.
He will reveal his purpose for your life and also empower you to fulfil it.

Prayer: Holy Spirit, holy strength, fill me with strenght so that i may live and testify.

Jesus went to prepare a place for us, and the Holy Spirit was sent to prepare us for that place.

FIND YOUR COURAGE IN THE POWER OF GOD

"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might." (Ephe 6:10)

When your circumstances create problems that seems so big like the Kilimanjaro mountain, it can easily drive you do despair. Then one often cries out, "What should i do now? I can't handle this anymore!"
There might be many reasons why the situation arises. Perhaps its a set back in your career life, business failor, or maybe the invironment fills you with despair.
I want to submit to you that God will never leave you to handle life and all the problems it brings by yourself.
The Lord promised to never let you down. (Heb 13:5) In every situation, the Lord holds us, supports us and encourage us.
Instead of breaking down under the burdens of life, why not place your faith in the heavenly Father?
Follow the leadership of the Holy Spirit.

Prayer: Father God, strengthen my faith through the Holy Spirit so that i may live life in the strength of the Lord Jesus.

THE INVINCIBLE POWER OF FAITH

Faith is the irresistible, unstoppable, ever-prevailing, ever-winning, ever-conquering, and ever-advancing power that moves mountains.

- Faith secures the hand of God on our behalf
   Isaiah 53:1
Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?

  - The arm of the Lord is always revealed to people who have faith.
Believing God for the impossible, takes a special kind of faith, which moves the Arm         of God to our advantage.
Psalm 118:15 The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the Lord doeth valiantly.
16
The right hand of the Lord is exalted: the right hand of the Lord doeth valiantly.

Trust in God and rejoice always.

SPIRITUAL EMPOWERMENT

  • The word of God is the carrier of God's power
"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
Romans 1:16
God's word is "living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and spirit, of joints and marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart." Hebrews 4:12
  • The word is delivered by the Spirit
"Look in the scroll of the LORD and read: None of these will be missing, not one will lack her mate. For it is his mouth that has given the order, and his Spirit will gather them together" Isaiah 34:16"
  • Whenever the word is released by faith, the Spirit of the Lord goes forth to deliver.
"So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him."  Isaiah 59:19
  • The Spirit of the Lord empowers us to fulfil destiny.
"Then he said to me, 'This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: Not by might nor by       power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts" Zec 4:6
May you be empowered this morning.

Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much.” — Luke 16:10 (NIV)

Dear Ncmi Family
In the world’s system, growth follows striving.
In the Kingdom,
growth follows obedience.
That’s a principle many believers struggle to embrace.
We pray for increase.
We hope for breakthrough.
We study strategies and systems.
But at the end of the day,
God blesses what we do, not just what we say and think.
The desire to grow isn’t enough. The willingness to steward what’s in your hand—and to take action with it—is what positions you for the increase you’ve been praying for.

Stay Blessed,
